There are different ways to immigrate to Canada, learn more and check if you are eligible.

Immigrating to Canada?

Canada’s immigration plans and volume slowed down when the pandemic hit in 2020. However, the government announced ambitious new immigration targets for the coming years stating it would be welcoming 401,000 new permanent residents in 2021, 411,000 in 2022, and 421,000 in 2023. Immigration remains a crucial contributor to the Canadian economy.

“Our plan will help to address some of our most acute labour shortages and to grow our population to keep Canada competitive on the world stage.”

Marco Mendicino | Oct-2020
Even though Canada welcomes hundreds of thousands of new immigrants every year, the process of accepting applications is complex as immigrants should meet certain entrance requirements.
The main two immigration categories beside humanitarian and refugee classes are family class for related persons of Canadian residents living in Canada, and economic class which covers Canadian experience class, skilled workers and business people.
